2018 Mustangs Team Coaches
Maitland Basketball is pleased to announce its final team coaching roster for 2018. All team coaches have now been appointed. This season will see the coaches work together more closely in developing a united approach to coaching our club. This will include an increase in the number of development opportunities for our coaches.
Maitland Basketball is building a constructive and positive approach to supporting and developing our coaches. 2018 will see Coaching Director Mark Wawszkowicz and Development Manager Trevor Gallacher play a more coordinated role in developing a whole of club coaching program. Our focus will be on increasing access to educational resources and a greater level of feedback and support, especially for our developing coaches.
In addition, age groups will spend more time on court together, and in the preseason all teams will practice, and there are additional practice opportunities every week for all players to develop their skills and fundamentals at the Mustangs Skills Session (Sunday 5pm and Tuesday 6.15am).
The first Mustangs Club Day will be on Sunday 10th December, and each of these days will combine a range of activities for the players and education and development for our coaches. More details on this event will follow soon.
