NEWS: FFV announces 2017 Referees' Branch Award winners

FOOTBALL Federation Victoria’s Referees’ Department is pleased to announce the 2017 Branch Award winners. The new initiative aims to recognise the outstanding on field achievements of branch referees and the voluntary work that many referees undertake within their branch.

There were four different categories of awards on offer they were: Best First Season Referee, Branch Referee Development Award, Best Branch Referee and Best Branch Volunteer.

The final branch meetings of the year in October were an ideal time to present these awards to each referee in front of their peers. Each award winner was presented with an individually engraved plaque in recognition of their outstanding achievement within their branch.

The winners of the 2017 Referee Awards from the Geelong Region branch included the following recipients:

Best First Season Referee – TRACEY PEUCKER
