Kevin Medlyn to lead Parkes Soccer and new look committee in 2018
With the end of the 2017 season comes the end of the 2017 season meetings schedule which included the Annual General Meeting held at the Parkes Bowling and Sports Club on Monday night.
During the Annual General Meeting all positions were declared vacant by Chairperson Wayne Pearce and the process of nominating a new committee started. The Executive Committee and Association Committee are as follows:
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
President – Kevin Medlyn
Senior Vice President – Paul Lowe
Junior Vice President – Wayne Osborne
Secretary – Arno Kronenberg
Treasurer – Angela Bottaro-Porter
ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE
Junior Competition Secretary – Lara Kronenberg
Senior Competition Secretary – Natasha Butt
Publicity Officer – Matt Medlyn
Coaching Coordinators – Angela Bottaro-Porter, Wayne Osborne and Stewart Lamond
Canteen Manager – Paul and Shirley Lowe
For the first time a Junior Sub Committee was formed to assist with the running of the sport in Parkes, this committee consists of Wayne Pearce and Robyn Ford. We are still looking for anyone who would be interested in joining this committee, interested people should contact Kevin Medlyn.
Re-elected President, Kevin Medlyn, thanked outgoing committee members Scott Lowe, Kristy Fletcher and David Hodges for their services to the sport in Parkes during 2017 along with welcoming new committee members Wayne Osborne, Arno Kronenberg, Lara Kronenberg and Stewart Lamond.
New fresh ideas have already started flowing with the committee with some exciting initiatives set to be announced in the coming months so stay tuned for more.
