Introducing the 2017 Outlook Eye Centre Under 14 Darling Downs Demons

With only six days until our Under 14 representative boys team, heads to the Sunshine Coast to contest the State Academy Championships.

Premiership player Nyok Kag's sponsor, Outlook Eye Centre has been drawn as the 'Naming Rights Partner' for the Darling Downs Demons for the Championship campaign.

Now, let us introduce the team......

Our team consists of 23 players, from across the region from Laidley to Nanango, Chinchilla to Goondiwindi and across Toowoomba. The shortest player is Michael 'MACCA' MacDonald at 152cm and out tallest Gabe Stower at 182cm, not bad for a 14 year old.

We have 10 top age players (born 2003) and 13 bottom age players.

Under 14 McDonald's Shield Premiers, University Cougars have four players, while runners up Highfields-Coolaroo have the most of any AFL Darling Downs club with 6 players in total.
