The final teams are confirmed for the 2017 Allied Pickford’s Cup, Westpac Women’s and Division 2 men’s Grand Finals, with the Goondiwindi Hawks and University Cougars named fairly unchanged lists of 25 since their last appearances.
For the Cougars, they have named three-time Holman Medallist Brendan Iles, but late mail has he is unavailable for the season decider. University have also named veteran Heath Gniel, young Evan Cooper and the Mackay brothers.
Goondiwindi, will continue their consistency and no doubt will name an unchanged final 22 come Saturday afternoon.
Holman Medallist David O’Toole, rising star Jack Martin and the ever reliable Adam Scoble are keys for the Hawks.
All teams will reduce their lists to a maximum of 22 prior to the start of their game.
