PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
Kinderkick runs for 6 weeks, consisting of one 45-minute session per week.
Sessions are held on weekday mornings or afternoons depending on each early childhood centre’s needs.
KINDERKICK IS A FUNDAMENTAL MOTOR SKILLS PROGRAM THAT IS DESIGNED TO TARGET KIDS AGED 3-5 YEARS.
Kinderkick features specific lesson plans to assist and enhance the developmental needs of each child’s physical and social well being.
The children will complete an appropriate game based warm-up, then participate in fun target skill activities such as catching, throwing, balancing crawling etc. before concluding with some calming activities.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
During their participation in our Kinderkick programs, children develop and grow physically and emotionally, through innovative, fun drills and sequential activities, children develop coordination, balance and concentration.
With the incorporation of a variety of games, children learn to follow instructions, work as part of a team and develop their self-confidence and imagination.
WHO ARE THE COACHES?
AFL Queensland provides coaches who are specifically trained in delivering sports and motor skill programs to children between three and five years of age.
All of our coaches undertake a Kinderkick specific trainining program, delivered by an early learning specialist.
All of our coaches carry current Blue Cards.
