Football
Shepparton has a very even team, with plenty of leg speed within the group.
For mine, Kyabram is an outstanding team. In my opinion I don’t believe it possesses a weakness. In fact they have got so many players within the group that have the ability to play a number of different positions on the ground.
Some of those guys who offer the reigning premier versatility are Billy Burstin, Jason Morgan and Lachie Smith.
They have so many unheralded players who don’t get the accolades like some of their higher profile team-mates.
Some of those included in that group are Aaron Hayes, Luke Morris and Jordan Williams.
Up forward the Bombers are less predictable with Kyle Mueller, Hayden Gemmill, Kayne Pettifer and Brad Mangan all capable of taking the game to the opposition defences.
While I agree that Shepparton could beat Kyabram I think that everything would have to go right for them.
They can’t afford any passengers.
Nikolaus Rokahr, Rowan Hiscock, Ashley Holland, Matthew Ryan, Benjamin Davies, John Bradaric, Ted Lindon, James Wong and Nick Allan are all pivotal for the Bears.
If they can play well and limited the damage on the scoreboard early, then this should be a great contest.
The conditions are likely to play a part, with the Bears fresh from the experience of playing under the lights at Mooroopna.
The Bears have nothing to lose and everything to gain, with a double chance.
In the finish I think it will be Kyabram by 15 points.

as the Football KYABRAM V SHEPPARTON
Shepparton will get a free hit at trying to move into the second semi-final when it does battle with the minor premier in a historic night final.
The reigning premier went through the season undefeated while Shepparton was easily the next best team only losing three games for the home and away season.
After starting the season with back-to-back losses, the Bears went on a run where they put together 10 consecutive wins.
They will take some good form into this contest, having won their last five matches.
Tracey Brereton would be pleased with how her team has placed across the season and she will tell her girls to take the game on.
Both times these teams have played there has been key players missing from both line-ups.
I expect both of them to be at full strength tonight and Kyabram to move into the second semi-final with a 7 goal win.
Round 2: Kyabram 46 d Shepparton 18
Round 13: Kyabram 52 d Shepparton 46
