NEWS: Geelong SC’s Stead Park to host 2017 Geelong Region Grand Finals
FOOTBALL Federation Victoria (FFV) announced late on Monday afternoon that Geelong Soccer Club’s application to host this year’s Geelong Region Grand Finals on the weekend of September 23-24 has been successful and as such FFV has awarded hosting rights to the newly refurbished complex.
The Boys’ Under 12 and U13 Finals’ matches, as well as the Girls’ U12s and U15s and Women Division 1 and Division 2 Grand Finals will be staged at Stead Park on Saturday 23rd of September.
The following day will see the Boys’ U15s and U17s and Men’s Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3, in addition to the Men’s Masters’ Finals take place at the Norlane venue.
The higher placing teams will host the respective semi-final match ups at their own ground on the weekend prior.
The proposed fixtures for the two day Grand Final carnival are as follows:
