AFL Darling Downs have confirmed, that two venues will host Preliminary Final action this Saturday 2nd September.
University Cougars and Toowoomba Tigers, respective home venues will play host to all the footy action this weekend. USQ AFL Oval will host the one McDonald's Shield match with Rockville Park hosting the other five competitions.
Originally Rockville Park was to host all six matches, however with the teams participating and the annual AFL Darling Downs Awards Night the decision was to move the Under 14 McDonald's Shield match between Coolaroo-Highfields and South Toowoomba to USQ AFL Oval.
This match was the perfect fit, keeping clubs appearing in multiple competitions and travelling at one venue.
Winning this weekend's Preliminary Final, will see those teams advance to the Grand-Final on Saturday 9th September at Rockville Park.
