University Cougars Vs. Highfields-Coolaroo
9:00am @ USQ AFL Oval
It was only in Round 15 that these two sides met and it was the Cougars who roared the loudest, defeating the Lion-Roos' by 33 points at Gold Park. Under 12 leading goal-scorer Lochie Greenbury booted 3 majors, as Henry Sheath the Peltz Medallist led a second half charge for the Lion-Roos' but it wasn't enough.
The minor premiers and undefeated Cougars are to go past if picking a winner, finals is a new season in itself.
Henry Sheath, Charlie Bignell & William Stone are players to watch for the Highfields-Coolaroo side. With James Potter, Lochie Greenbury and Zimra Hassan the star Cougars to keep an eye on.

With well over a month since these two sides met, the Bombers will be drawing from their Round 12 victory in Chinchilla by 44 points. Though, the Swan-SUNS claim bragging rights for the two previous encounters including a slender 7-point win the last time they faced the Bombers in Toowoomba.
The side that has been in-front at the first break, has gone on to win the game and that first term will be important.
The neutral venue of Rockville Park, has been a happy hunting ground for both sides this season. The likes of Lara Paget, Christopher Wynd and Patrick Dolbel and their influenence will be huge for the Swan-SUNS. For South Toowoomba keep an eye out for Caitlin Hill, Theodore Hess and Keegan Luck.

University Cougars Vs. Highfields-Coolaroo
10:30am @ USQ AFL Oval
The Maxwell and Speed led undefeated minor premiers, University are going to be a tough task for the Lions-Roos'. Highfields-Coolaroo must stop the attacking duo of Speed/Maxwell, both won't stick to the forward fifty and love to push up the ground.
Highfields-Coolaroo are the only team to get within a few goals of the Cougars and a positive first quarter is the key.
Harrison Copland, Eli Slyderink and Samuel Dearnaley are keys to the Lions-Roos'. The previously mentioned Speed and Maxwell along with Gracie Paynter, Nyengela Mwajuma and Jarrad Watts are key cogs in the machine that is the University Cougars.
Elimination Final - winner progresses to the Preliminary Final against the loser of the Qualifying Final. The losing side from this match, their season comes to an end.
South Toowoomba Vs. Dalby-Chinchilla
10:30am @ Rockville Park
This will be a very even elimination final and if we were to pick one match that could go to extra-time, then this is the game.
Bombers hold the upper hand with 2-wins to 1 this season and both sides have mouth-watering match ups right across the paddock. The likes of the Col Wells Medallist Nicholas Nugent (STBAFC) up against Fletcher Brown (DS-CS), All Australian Zimmorlei Farquharson (DS-CS) going head to head with Cate Koelmeyer (STBAFC) and Aden Neary (STBAFC) against Joseph Walsh (DS-CS).
These contests alone will be massive and the player that can get on top in their individual battle will give their side the upper hand.

The Lions-Roos' are the greater attacking side averaging 76.5 points for per game but face the Cougars who are the better defensive side and only allow 42 points against per game. However, the #1 ranked defensive side boast the number one goal-kicker and Jack Barry Medallist Jaiden Fidge. And for the #1 attacking Roos'-Lions, they boast representative defender Tyler Debney.
We wouldn't be surprised if this game comes down to one final kick. Keep an eye out for Jaiden Fidge, Harry Potter and Jared Jeitz for the Cougars. For the Highfields-Coolaroo side Jackson Copland, Brody Kahler and Tyler Debney are a trio to watch.
