Thunder Overturn Two-Goal Deficit

SWQ Thunder have claimed a 3-2 victory away from home, despite trailing FNQ FC Heat by two goals early on.
On the final weekend of the season, Heat hosted Thunder at Barlow Park with the teams sitting 7th and 10th respectively.
FNQ gained the advantage early, gifted the lead inside the first minute courtesy of a Nicholas Edwards own goal. Within ten minutes, the home side had scored again through Christopher O'Hare, pulling their lead out to two goals.
Thunder midfielder Thomas Fanning was constantly on the ball for the visitors and also executed the penalty in the 20th minute which began Thunder's comeback.
Majok Piok and Blair Ferguson both picked up the crucial goals for the visitors, ensuring the 3-2 victory.
With no finals football for either side, the players will look forward to their long break before beginning preparations for next season.
