NEWS: Every MiniRoos player to receive a Melbourne Victory gift bag at Sunday's Gala Day!
MELBOURNE Victory will be offering every MiniRoo player, who will be taking part at the MiniRoos Gala Day at Torquay’s Banyul Warri Reserve on Sunday, a special gift – a FREE Melbourne Victory gift bag which will include club licensed drink bottles, stickers, tattoo and lanyard.
To be handed out to every MiniRoos team’s coach to pass on to their respective players, the giveaway is incredible testament to the level of involvement and investment the Hyundai A-League giant is injecting into making this year’s Geelong MiniRoos Gala Day the biggest one yet.
There will be a list of team names at the marquee, which will be ticked off as the respective coach collects their team’s gift bags, either prior to or immediately after their team’s game.
In addition to the gift bags, Victory will be staging a special Presidents’ Luncheon in the Banyul Warri Reserve clubrooms for all 21 Geelong Region Football Committee (GRFC) member clubs, at which a special presentation will be made to the newly crowned Geelong Region Men’s Division 1 league champions, Barwon SC.
The winner of the Women’s equivalent – likely to be either the current competition leader Drysdale SC or second placed Deakin Ducks – will be presented at a very special pitchside ceremony prior to next year’s Hyundai A-League game against Central Coast Mariners at Simonds Stadium on Saturday 6th January!
Apart from the giveaways and the Presidents’ Luncheon, on Sunday there will be all sorts of off the field Victory themed activities which will include inflatables, souvenir stands with the undoubted highlight being a special ‘meet and greet’ appearance of a selection of senior Victory stars. There will be opportunities for youngsters to get autographs and ‘selfies’ with their favourite Victory star.
To top it off, Melbourne Victory will set aside a specific A-League round for the Geelong region to be allocated 140 participant spots (includes MiniRoos games, centre circle flag waving, mascots etc), as well as ticket allocation for local clubs totaling around 460 tickets.
Attached is the pitch allocation for the MiniRoos games scheduled for Sunday’s Victory Gala Day.
