Thank you to all of our community who turned out in full force to support Willetton’s annual quiz night fundraiser.  It was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all, and is the biggest quiz night event ever held by the club in terms of attendance.  New to the event in 2017 was our audiovisual expert who put together a background presentation celebrating our teams and our club.

Each WABL and SBL team played respective roles, including donating prizes and purchasing tables for the night, and thanks are extended to those in the broader community who supported the silent auctions and raffles on the night.

In particular the Under 14 Australian Junior Championship teams allocated time, resources and manpower to the planning, manning and entertainment on the night, alongside numerous volunteers and the stadium staff, into making the night a huge success. 

We congratulate and thank the parents who volunteered to be the team delegates, for their professional and tireless support of the event. 

The clear proceeds of the event was $25,650.  Each Under 14 AJC team will receive, additional to their own team’s ticket sales, $10,000 towards their travel budget for the Championships in Dandenong in September. The remaining funds will go towards WBA’s goal to install fans in the Stadium to cool players & spectators during the summer months.
