The next generation of local stars will be on show in Dalby this Saturday, as the region's Under 8's and 10's teams come together to celebrate the year that was.
Boys and girls from every football club will converge onto the Dalby Swans Oval in the annual AFL Darling Downs Under 8's and 10's carnival, hosted by the Dalby Swans.
It'll be a mega day of modified footy games, with plenty to do for the whole family.
The parents will be well looked after with the Swannies' coffee van and fine weather but their kids will be in good hands with plenty of footy action, face painting and inflatables. Brisbane Lions mascot, Roy the Lion is also set to make an appearance to help celebrate the year that was.

Regional Manager for AFL Queensland on the Darling Downs Jeff Neumann said it would be a great day for all and the main outcome is maximising participation and finishing season 2017 in style.
"It is a unique day, to have all our football clubs at the one venue at once.
"It a great atmosphere and even better way to celebrate the year that was," AFL Queensland Regional Manager Jeff Neumann said.
"This season has been another massive year and our under 8's and 10's players continue to lead the way when it comes to enjoying their footy," Neumann added.
The 2017 AFL Darling Downs Under 8's and 10's Carnival kicks off at 9:00am and will see each team play in a series of matches, against each other.
