Level 1 Referees Course 12th September

EASTS TOUCH Level 1 Referees Course details – 12^th September 2017

Easts Touch Association will be conducting a Level 1 Touch Referees course for those people who are interested in learning the rules of the game and to enable them to referee at park level in various competitions that Easts Touch co-ordinate.

Date: Tuesday 12^th September

Time: 5:30pm – 8:00pm

Cost: $60 payable to NSWTA

Venue: Graphic Arts Club - 182 Coward Street, Mascot – upstairs in the boardroom.

Food: Easts Touch will provide pizza and drinks for your dinner (food on arrival – so don’t be late!)

Presenters: Mr Andrew Smith – Rebels Regional Director of Referees

Mr Adam Foley – Level 6 Referee, Hall of Fame NSWTA – Easts Touch Ref

Mr Ray Kessey – Level 4 Referee – Easts Touch & Representative Level

Important Course requirements:

1. Register online to NSW Touch: follow the link to register for the course and pay the fee of $60 online with a credit card.

2. Online component: Participants MUST complete the Australian Sports Commission Introductory Level Officiating General Principles online course prior to the Referees course. You MUST bring the certificate to the referee evening when completed – otherwise you cannot do the referees course. The link to the prior course is: https://learning.ausport.gov.au Select the COACHING & OFFICIATING COURSE. This should take approx. two hours to complete. You PRINT off the certificate when you complete the course online.

3. Face to face component: The Referees course evening with Easts Touch 12^th Sept.

4. Read the Touch Rule book: This is available online to read prior to the course.

Parents are welcome to wait at the Graphic Arts Club whilst you complete the course in the lounge area or eat a meal in the restaurant.
