Concussion is difficult to detect. About 90% of concussions occur without losing consciousness and about half of all concussions go unrecognised.
AFL South East in collaboration with The University of Sydney invite you to take part in a research study about sport-related concussion from that will help to improve our understanding of concussion recognition and management in those persons most closely associated with players, as well as players themselves.
This knowledge will be assessed with a questionnaire. We are looking for coaches, sport trainers, physiotherapists, referees, team managers, teachers, parents/guardians and players (16 years and over).
The findings will help to ensure players’ long-term health and welfare in sport and inform decisions which will make their sport safer and more enjoyable for all to participate.
If you are interested to participate please follow the link to the questionnaire
