For the second time in 2008, Brittany Davis of the Logan Thunder collects the Player of the Week Award for superior efforts at both ends of the floor.  In game 1 at home against the Gliders, she hit 29pts @ 55%, 18rbs, 2asts to drive the team to a big victory (90-62) over the very team that handed them their first loss of the season back in Round 9 (68-71).  Should the Gliders season see them hit success over the last few rounds and finish equal with the Thunder, Logan can rest assured that they have the head-to-head advantage with this 28pt margin.  In game 2 of Round 11, the Thunder traveled up the range to Toowoomba where Davis was again an integral part of the team’s success.  She was involved in everything in this game and finished with 31pts @ 41%, 15rbs, 5ats, 5stls as the Thunder ran away with an 80-55 win to go that one step closer to hosting a Quarter Final.  Davis is the 4^th highest offensive player in the League (23.8ppg) and second highest defensive player (14.6rpg) and currently firing on all cylinders for the Thunder as they get closer to the business end of the season. 

Elsewhere in QLD, Cherie Smith of the Townsville Flames achieved a rapid fire 24pts, 8rbs, 2asts, 3stls, 2blks in 22 minutes against the Suns in the teams 39^th win in a row; Amy Browne of the Maroochydore Clippers hit her largest all round effort this season with 30pts @ 52%, 10rbs, 5asts, 4stls to see the Clippers cement themselves into a finals position; and Round 11 Player of the Week Ezria Parsons of the South West Metro Pirates banging out a massive double-double with 30pts, 24rbs, 3asts and 3stls in 29 minutes to put the team on a 9-game streak.
