Victorian sports clubs are encouraged to work with their local Federal Member of Parliament to apply for grants of up to $20,000 thanks to the latest Australian Government funding opportunity.
The Stronger Communities Programme provides eligible local government agencies, not for profit organisations and trustees of a property trust with grants of up to $20,000 to fund small capital projects that deliver social benefits in each of the 150 electorates across Australia.
Round 3 of the programme will provide $150,000 to each electorate for eligible small capital projects that improve local community participation and contribute to vibrant and viable communities.
Each Federal Member of Parliament must consult with their local community to identify potential projects that are consistent with the intended programme outcomes.
To be eligible your project must:
- have been identified by your Federal Member of Parliament
- have at least $5,000 in eligible expenditure
- deliver social benefits to your community.
- Your project should be scheduled for completion by 30 June 2018.
