Echuca’s slim finals aspirations were extinguished last weekend when it was upset by the improved Shepparton Swans.
The last two weeks have been forgetful for the Murray Bombers and coach, Andrew Briggs will have his boys focussed on the task at hand today against Shepparton.
Simon Buckley, Kane Morris, Brent McGrath, Brodie Kemp, Elliot Stewart, Ruory Kirkby and Tim Allen will be some of the team’s key players in trying to overcome a Shepparton team charging towards the finals.
Rowan Hiscock, Nikolaus Rokahr, Mitchell Brett, Anthony Andronaco, Matthew Ryan and young star Jonty Wardle were all dominant against Benalla last weekend while James Wong and Ted Lindon were among the goals.
The Bears have too much on the line to let this game slip through their fingers and they will win.
Tip: Shepparton.

Echuca has kept its dream alive of figuring in the September action after a fantastic win on the road last weekend.
The Murray Bombers face another challenge today when they take on the next best team in the competition after Kyabram in Shepparton on the road.
Coach Casey Frame will know that much of the same that got them the win against the Swans will be required to be a chance of upsetting the Bears.
The Bears are so talented and don’t have too many weaknesses and they have depth within the squad.
Echuca will need to start well to put the home team on the back foot and under pressure.
A loss won’t necessarily end their campaign, but it will make very difficult.
Tip: Shepparton.
