NEWS: Week 12 MiniRoos' Fixtures released for Northern Hub
THE Aldi MiniRoos Northern Hub returns to the Bell Park Sports Club in Batesford on Sunday for Week 12 of the 2017 season. The Southern Hub, meanwhile, will be split between two venues - Village Park in Barwon Heads and the Barwon Soccer Club's Grovedale Reserve...
The MiniRoos Hubs comprise of all the U7s, U9s and U11s age group competitions, split between the Joeys (beginners) and Kangas (advanced) sub-leagues. The U7s play in 4v4 (players) on 1/8 the size of a full pitch, the U9s play 7v7, while the U11s play 9v9.
As Bell Park has reduced space and hence while the U11 games are finished by 12.55 pm and the U9 games by 1.05pm, all of the U7's will be completed by 1.35pm and there will be some U7 fields required to be put on the U11 fields once this age group has finished.
Therefore it is critically important that all games finish by the times set on the fixture.
The Elcho Park Cardinals and North Geelong Warriors Girls have requested that all their games be finished as early as possible as they have the Grand Opening of their new changeroom facility at Elcho Park kicking off at noon.
The full fixture list (along with pitch allocations) for the Northern Hub is attached.
The Southern Hub, meanwhile, will be split between two venues on Sunday. The two venues are Village Park in Barwon Heads and Barwon Soccer Club's Grovedale Reserve.
The fixtures for the Southern Hub can be found under the FIXTURES/RESULTS tab at the top of this website.
IN OTHER MINI ROOS news, it has been confirmed that the date for the annual Melbourne Victory MiniRoos Gala Day has been confirmed by the A-League giants as Sunday August 20 with the hosting venue to be Surf Coast FC's Banyul Warri Reserve in Torquay North.
