SAWFL “Legends of an Era” 1991- 2016

To recognise the contribution the SAWFL has made to women's footy in South Australia the Adelaide Footy League is recognising key SAWFL players and administrators as SAWFL “Legends of an Era”. The Legends will be announced at the 2017 Adelaide Footy Women Grand Final Day at ALDI Arena on Sunday September 3rd.

As noted in the Rationale, The SAWFL “Legends of an Era” scheme is designed to recognise the invaluable contributions made by members of the SAWFL community from 1991-2016. The Legends will predominantly be made up of players of note who performed at a high level throughout their playing careers, however significant off-field contributors who also played will also be considered for inclusion. A coach or coaching panel will also be selected for inclusion in the SAWFL Legends of an Era.
