NEWS: GRFC Chairperson appears on Bay 93.9 to discuss upcoming Community in Business function
GEELONG Region Football Committee (GRFC) Chairperson Jo Plummer appeared on Geelong radio station Bay 93.9 this week to talk about local football matters as well as the upcoming Community in Business sporting/corporate breakfast function, which is being organised by Football Federation Victoria in association with the GRFC.
Speaking on Wednesday’s edition of the daily ‘Catch Up’ show, which is presented by popular radio hosts Daryl Reader and Roxanne Bennet, Plummer was a guest of regular panellist John Fitzgerald who is a director of the Geelong Connected Communities, a local community organisation that is co-sponsoring the Community in Business event.
To be held in the Captains’ Room at Simonds Stadium on Friday August 18 at 7:30am, the breakfast function will bring together the local football community with local and statewide businesses keen to explore closer business, sporting and commercial links.
The entire interview goes for about 10 minutes and can be listened to in its entirety by opening the attached MP3 file.
