The regions own, Darling Downs Demons - Masters, will take to the field this weekend as they come up against the Moorooka Roosters at Gold Park this Saturday evening.
Darling Downs are currently undefeated, winning all four matches so far this season and will looking to add another tally to the win column.
Players to keep an eye on: Scott Sowerby and Andrew Wickes have been in superb form up forward for the Demons and have combined as a damaging duo in-front of the big sticks.
Veteran midfielders, Heath Gniel, Matt Howarth and Darren Murphy have provided golden service and Geoff Bolton has been a defensive wall for the Demons all season.
AFL Queensland Regional Manager for the Darling Downs, said it is a great opportunity for players over 35 to continue their footy careers in a social yet competitive format.
"AFLM (AFL Masters) provides the opportunity for players 35 years and over to enjoy our great game in a safe, supportive and fun environment," Regional Manager Jeff Neumann said.
"AFLM has over 119 teams throughout Australia and the Darling Downs has a proud history of participating in the SEQ competition.
