TRFM Gippsland League senior games – 10
Serong transferred into the TRFM Gippsland League after a stellar junior career with Longwarry which included 100 games and 212 goals. Last Year Serong played EDFL seniors as a 17 year old kicking 36 goals in his 16 games.
Making his debut in round 4, Serong has played every match for Warragul since then including the wins over Maffra, Sale, Drouin and Bairnsdale. He has kicked at least one goal in every senior match played including 3 goal hauls; on debut against Maffra, versus Sale and Moe. Arguably his best match came in the local derby against Drouin where he kicked four goals and was named amongst the best.
Serong represented TRFM Gippsland League at the recent Evans Petroleum Cup carnival in Yinnar and at the Worksafe Community Championships where he was an integral part of the team’s undefeated 2017 campaigns.

Georgia Moody

TRFM Gippsland League A Grade games – 11
At only 15 years old Moody is one of the brightest young prospects in the league. Transferring into the league this year Moody made an immediate impression. She has carried Moe’s A Grade goaling so far this season shooting 347 goals in her 11 games.
She has contributed over 57% of goals for the Lions total goals in 2017 and over 65% of the team’s goals when playing. Moody currently sits fourth on the A Grade leading goal scorers list despite missing two matches this year, averaging 31.55 goals per game.
Moody has received 14 MVP votes so far in 2017 including three best on court performances against Maffra, Sale and Warragul. She has also polled in 7 matches to sit equal fifth, clearly outlining her ability to impact the game.
