The Gap Women have safegaurded second place after crushing Western Pride FC Women 8-0 at Walton Bridge Reserve.
Ruth Blackburn opened the scoring in the 13th minute and went on to score a hattrick, however it was Greta Bodey who stole the show after scoring a bag full of five goals.
The Gap now boast a goal difference of +55 ahead of next Sunday's clash with UQFC at Lions Stadium.
Pride will be lookng for their first win of the season next week when they take on Sunshine Coast FC at Briggs Road Sporting Complex.

13’ – GOAL FOR GATORS – Ruth Blackburn puts a Talitha Doro corner into the back of the net.
14’ – GOAL FOR GATORS - Greta Bodey controls a bobbling ball in the box, spins onto her left and slots it into the bottom left-hand corner.
34' – GOAL FOR GATORS – Blackburn gets her second! She controls the cross beautifully with her chest before slamming it in.
36’ – GOAL FOR GATORS – It takes just a minute for the Blackburn to turn her brace into a hat-trick as the Gap captain’s header beats Western Pride 'keeper Kirsten Veeren.
72’ – GOAL FOR GATORS – Greta Bodey is tripped in the box for a penalty. She steps up to take it herself and places it into the bottom left corner for her second.
75’ – GOAL FOR GATORS – And now it's Bodey with her hat-trick! It is a case of right place right time as she taps it in with her knee.
85’ – GOAL FOR GATORS – And that is four for Bodey as she finishes off a nice piece of play by the Gap.
88’ – GOAL FOR GATORS – And Bodey gets a glut! Her first shot is stopped but a desperate lunge allows Bodey to toe in her fifth.
