AFL Queensland Regional Manager said it was a fantastic finish to another great year of the Under 17 Girls competition.
"We started the season on a high and finished on a high, from expansion to high quality games what more could you ask for," Regional Manager Jeff Neumann said.
"All 6 competing teams, participated with first class football and to the teams, players and officials, the players were exceptional.
"Chloe is an outstanding talent and with this only her third game of Australian Football, to perform to the level she did as a 14 year old against 17 year olds, shows she is a talented athlete," Neumann said of B.O.G recipient Chloe Cocks.
Downland's also capped off the night with forward Taylor Sutton cleaning up the competition awards, claiming both the Most Valuable Player and leading goal-kicker.
