STANHOPE V NAGAMBIE
The tough challenges keep coming for the in-form Stanhope.
The young Lions are in a rich vein of form, having won seven games in a row.
Coach Kerrie Gray will be looking to the likes of Jamieson Vick, Molly Breen and Sarah West to provide the leadership and drive to push last year’s runner-up.
The Lakers come into this match fresh from dishing out Avenel’s first loss of the season.
The likes of Kate Sullivam, Sarah O’Sullivan and Bianca Willis will be important if the Lakers want to continue their push towards a top two finish.
Tip: Nagambie.
MERRIGUM V MURCHISON-TOOLAMBA
Murchison-Toolamba will be desperate to turnaround its form after dropping out of the top six on the back of three straight losses.
Merrigum coach Kate Cordingley knows how important every game is in the run home to the finals and she will look to Chelsea Nicholson and Allana Adams for inspiration and drive to keep the Grasshoppers out of the six.
The Grasshoppers will look to coach Alice Cunningham, Bridie McCormick and Sharne Milne to claim the win and leap back into the top six.
Tip: Murchison-Toolamba.
ARDMONA V RUSHWORTH
This is a huge opportunity for these two teams to chalk up a rare win.
The Tigers have performed slightly better than the Cats when it comes to wins and losses.
Katrina Ogden, Lauen Schade and Crystal Pateman have been some of the team’s more consistent players this year while some of the shining lights for the Cats have been Andrea Woodward and Kim Watkins.
The team that can get on top early in the contest and put some score on the board will get the four points.
Tip: Rushworth.
LONGWOOD V UNDERA
Longwood face a massive challenge if it is to chalk up its second win of the season when it takes on finals bound Undera.
Amanda Gledhill has been a huge inclusion for the Lions and she has been outstanding in defence while coach, Kate Murphy will be hoping to provide drive from the back half of the court.
The home team will look to Christine Conroy, Laura Mawson and Kaitlyn Carracher to lead from the front to cause an upset.
Tip: Undera.
VIOLET TOWN V LANCASTER
Violet Town has leaped into the top six after winning last weekend.
The Lions know that this is an important game that it must claim the four points to stay in the race for the remaining three spots up for grabs.
Brooke Bradshaw, Megan James and Rebecca Mathieson have been some of the regulars playing well and the Lions will be wary to not give the young Wombats a sniff.
Leanna Coulston, Eliza Grills and Zoe Backway will be trying to help their team to a rare win.
It has been a tough year for the Wombats, but coach, Laura Thomson will still take plenty of positives regardless of the outcome.
Tip: Violet Town.
TALLYGAROOPNA V GIRGARRE
Girgarre was very competitive last weekend and that will be the focus against a very strong Tallygaroopna outfit.
Fiona Down, Isobel Gribben and Bree Giles have been some of the team’s shining lights during the recent purple patch while Ruby Oliver, Sharee Starling and Ashlee Vick have been working hard for Girgarre.
Tip: Tallygaroopna.
