Football
Seymour will be hoping to carry the momentum of scoring arguably its most important win of the season into today’s contest against Tatura.
The Bulldogs will be up and about after ending a 10-game losing streak last weekend.
Seymour will look to Brandyn Grenfell, Benjamin Clifton, Harrison Wheeler, Jack Murphy, Andrew Sturgess and Rory Scopel to continue their good form against a Bulldogs team who pushed them in their first meeting earlier in the year.
Thomas Miller has been outstanding since his return to the team while Mitchell Elliott, Comanche Walls, Charlie Hill, James Sullivan and Liam Borrelli were good for the Doggies last weekend.
Tip: Seymour.
Netball
After struggling for victories in the first half of the season, the re-building Seymour could leap to ninth on the ladder if it can continue its winning form.
The Lions have played some of their best netball during the past fortnight and coach, Laura Carland will be seeking much of the same from her team today.
Ellie O’Sullivan has been one of the shining lights for the Lions while a number of new faces into the squad this year are starting to find their feet.
Tatura has had a good year and it will be keen to finish off the season with a few more wins.
They will be desperate to turnaround one of their worst performances of the year last weekend when they take on an in-form Seymour team.
Tip: Seymour.
