The Logan Thunder continue their solid form in the QABL with a win over the Power yesterday (109-102). The lethal combination of Green and Broom, with the added firepower of Gureckis, Meyerding and Ammar was too much for the traveling Power who were playing their second game of the double-header weekend. The Power fought incredibly hard in the final quarter (35-27) to try and close the gap, with player/coach Smith (pictured right) bringing down the house with a clear personal best for the year (42pts @ 65%, 8rbs, 3asts) to show the young guns of the team that the Coach still has more than plenty to give on the court. This win for the Thunder see’s them one step closer to cementing that 2nd position in Pool C, with it looking like only 2 positions available in the pool now that the Pirates will seemingly fall in behind the Rockets in the not to distant future.
