Football
Seymour faces a real challenge against the in-form Rochester outfit which is chasing a sixth consecutive win.
The Lions have been hit hard by injuries to some key players while champion full forward Saad Saad has put in for a clearance out of the league, a week after his nine goals.
The premiership forward missed the team’s loss to the Bears last weekend.
Rochester has produced two sensational last quarter comebacks to overcome Mansfield in round 10 and again last weekend against Tatura.
Coach, James Flaherty will be hoping his troops can get out of the blocks quickly against the Lions.
Nicholas O'Connor, Jarod Bacon, Scott Oakley, John Harvey and Jaycob Dingwall will be some of the Tigers looking to turn the tables on the Lions after losing to them on the opening day of the season.
Harrison Wheeler, Hugh Robertson, Rhys Clarke, Brent Ryan and Xavier McMahon will look to continue their good form from last weekend to ensure the Lions stay inside the top six.
Tip: Rochester.
Netball
Seymour has been improving with every game and coach, Laura Carland would have earmarked the next two weeks as opportunities to add to their one win for the season.
The Lions have pushed some of the competition’s best teams recently thanks largely to the likes of Courtney Aldous, Ellie O’Sullivan and Georgia Engel playing some consistent netball.
Rochester showed great character to bounce back after its upset defeat to Mansfield two weeks ago.
Morgan Dingwall and Sahra Brooks were the shining lights in the win last weekend.
The duo will need to shoot accurately to ensure the Tigers get the four points.
Tip: Seymour.
