This game presents a great opportunity for both teams to chalk up another victory in a season which has seen much joy for these two proud clubs.
There is no doubt the Swans have grown as a unit in the last five weeks and they were rewarded a fortnight ago with its first win of the season against Tatura.
Swans coach Paul Griffiths is well aware of the opportunity for his young chargers.
“We know that they are probably going to have their best side in and if we can win we can go to two wins with Mansfield and Tatura,’’ he said.
The Swans have been well served in recent weeks by BJ Squire, Dylan Kerr, Andrew Riordan, Nathan Terlich, Jared Service and Christopher Cullinan.
These guys will be crucial in guiding the team’s youngsters today to be bold and take the game on against an equally young outfit.
United will be boosted by the return of some of its leaders today.
They will look to have an impact on their return, coupled with some of the team’s more consistent players of late in Samuel Burls, Harrison Osborn, Shane Neaves, Reid Crowe, Matthew Waight and the returning Matthew Di Bella.
Tip: United.

Shepparton United will come out breathing fire when it makes the short trip to Princess Park.
The Demons are out of form, having lost to Benalla and Echuca in the last fortnight while the Swans are travelling along really well.
A victory today will see the Swans leapfrog the Demons.
This is a game that will be won through the middle of the court and whichever team can get on top will win.
Tip: Swans
