NEWS: Geelong Region Women’s Division 1 – Round 9 Preview
ALL EYES will be on the highly anticipated Round 9 top of the table clash when competition leader Drysdale SC hosts reigning premiers and second placed Deakin Ducks in the Geelong Region Women’s Division One match of the round on Saturday.

The game will be staged at Howard Glover Reserve and with just two points separating the two combatants, come Saturday evening the league could see either a new leader ascend to the throne, Drysdale open up a five point gap at the top or the status quo remain.
Surfside Waves will open the round on Friday night when they host 3rd placed Surf Coast at Shell Road Reserve. The match, which will kick off at 6:30pm, will be a curtain raiser to the Men’s Division One clash between the Waves and Lara United.
On Saturday, 5th placed Barwon will host 7th placed Barwon Heads at Grovedale Reserve, while across town at the Kardinia International College in Bell Post Hill, 4th placed Kardinia will take on bottom side Geelong. Both games kick off at 3pm.
