The Dalby Swans will host the South Toowoomba Bombers in the Round 9 Westpac Women’s match of the round.
Both sides come into this match, with inconsistent form lines with the Swans coming off two back to back losses and Bombers off an impressive win over Lockyer-Warwick. The Last time these two teams met was back in Round 6 where the Dalby Swans soared to an impressive 74-point victory.
Former Goondiwindi Hawk and reigning Heather Green Medalist, Alison Moore booted 4-goals in arguably a best on ground performance.
South Toowoomba are coming off the bye, however they made the most of their mid-season break and played against Yeronga South Brisbane in a special exhibition match in torrential rain at Heritage Bank Oval. Morgan Prior will be a player to watch for the Bombers, with Prior not playing last time the two clubs met. Prior is averaging 4.6 goals a game and if Morgan hits that average – South Toowoomba win.
