FOOTBALL Federation Victoria (FFV) has signed the foundation’s Love the Game Responsible Gambling Charter and is urging all Geelong region clubs to also say no to gambling sponsorship by signing the Charter themselves to ensure that clubs commit to establishing a healthy and safe environment in relation to gambling.

Football Federation Victoria (FFV) has signed the foundation’s Love the Game Responsible Gambling Charter and will say no to gambling sponsorship.

Signing the Love the Game Responsible Gambling Charter underpins FFV's commitment to establishing a healthy and safe environment for all of it's participants in relation to gambling. 

As clubs are the single most important touch point for all of our participants, FFV will continue to find ways to ensure its clubs continue to deliver and support their community.

FFV, and by extension its clubs understand the role that they play in the community to encourage healthy lifestyles and positive life choices.

FFV would love for all clubs to sign the Love the Game Responsible Gambling Charter to ensure that clubs commit to establishing a healthy and safe environment in relation to gambling. 

Throughout the season FFV will work closely with their clubs and associations to encourage their players to love the game, not the odds, and have committed to signing 80 soccer clubs to the Love the Game sporting club program.

In addition, FFV will work with Gambler’s Help community educators across Victoria to deliver information sessions to new participating clubs and host Love the Game themed rounds.
