The Shepparton Swans are getting closer to a win after producing some of their best football during the past fortnight.
Despite not getting that elusive win, the Swans will fancy their chances against out-of-form Tatura.
After back-to-back wins to start the season, the Bulldogs haven’t been able to crack it for another win despite been in most of those six losses.
The Swans will look to experienced trio Bryden Squire, Nicholas Calandro and Dylan Kerr to lead by example while youngsters Michael Rimato and Nathan Terlich will be out to continue their good form while ruckman Timothy Ewart is working overtime for this team.
Colby McDonald played his best game for the Bulldogs since joining from Lancaster while James Sullivan, Comanche Walls, Lincoln Wellington, James Nihill and James Wall tried valiantly to lift their team over the line in the last quarter arm wrestle with Echuca last weekend.
Tip: Tatura.
Netball
The Shepparton Swans will be aiming for a third straight win when it plays host to the ever-improving Tatura.
Coach, Jana Bruinier won’t be taking anything for granted when taking on the new look Bulldog outfit.
They are much better team this year with Molly Boyle leading the way.
The Swans dominated their contest with Mansfield thanks largely to the shooting efforts of Olivia Mason while Kate Jeffrey was a constant through the mid-court.
Alex Bertram has been one of the girls from last year’s squad doing very well and the goal for the team will be to play consistently well for the four quarters.
One bad quarter has been letting the team down this year.
