Football
After a slow start to the season, Rochester has got its season back on track with successive victories.
However, the Tigers face a big test against a Shepparton team which hasn’t lost since round two when beaten by Kyabram.
The Bears have put together a string of good wins, including the scalps of Euroa and Benalla.
Forward James Wong has been a real target of late and he will prove a handful for the Tiger defenders.
David Stretton, Benjamin Davies, Mitchell Brett, Levi Power and Nikolaus Rokahr have also been in a rich vein of form during this purple patch of wins.
Nicholas O'Connor, James Gledhill, Perry Oliver, Scott Oakley, Sam Brennan and Dylan Cuttriss were solid in the win against the Swans and the Tigers will be hoping to regain one of their best players in Nathan Marrone after a bout of concussion.
Tip: Shepparton.
Netball
Shepparton will be chasing a sixth straight win when it makes the trip across to take on the middle of the table Rochester.
The Bears are one of the form teams of the competition and coach, Tracey Brereton attributes the turnaround to an even team effort from her girls.
Goaler Kim Commane has come in and made a big difference, but the Bears have shown they can win without her as they did against Benalla and Mooroopna.
The Tigers are continuing to build their playing roster and will find it tough to match the Bears.
Tip: Shepparton.
