Seymour will be out to avoid a third straight defeat when it takes on last year’s preliminary finalist.
Benalla has been one the league’s more consistent teams and currently sit inside the top six.
The Saints were able to cope without the services of Jarrod Bannister who is out of action for another 4 weeks due to injury.
Nicholas Warnock was the star up forward for the Saints while Brody Webster, Sam Martyn, Charlie Morrison, Thomas Bennett and Jayden Guppy were all pivotal in the second half when the game was up for grabs.
The Lions will hope to get a few regulars back into the team today, especially coach Brent Colbert who missed last week’s loss.
Harrison Wheeler, Jason Cole, Brandyn Grenfell, Matthew O'Keefe, Hugh Robertson and Dylan Scopel were the guys who never gave up in the tight struggle against the Magpies.
Tip: Seymour.
Netball
Seymour may not be chalking up the wins that it has enjoyed over the last couple of seasons, but coach, Laura Carland is seeing growth each weekend.
Meg Grabc and Ellie O’Sullivan were two players who were outstanding in the loss to arch rival Euroa last weekend.
On the other hand, Benalla skipper Tylah Marchbank was the difference between her Saints and Tatura last weekend.
The Saints have too much on the line to let this four points slip through their fingers.
Tip: Benalla.
