RE-ADVERTISING U14 A BOYS COACH JUNIOR PIRATES

Advertising U14 A Boys Coaching position A for the 2017-18 Echuca Junior Pirate Coaches Applicants must have:

  • An Accredited Level 1 club coaching certificate (BVC requirement to coach at Country Championships 2018)
  • A current WWC
  • Be prepared to coach a domestic side in the July – December 2017 domestic season. 
  • Be prepared to go sub-committees.

 

New Coaches, who do not have their Accredited Level 1 Club Coaching Qualification, are also encouraged to apply, as this qualification can be gained throughout the season.

Only A teams participate in Country Championships.

The Echuca Junior Pirate Program is a representative program, where teams play in tournaments in the north west / east and central region of Victoria, which are held over a weekend period.  The tournament season for Echuca commences in October, with our own local tournament on Grand final weekend in September / October, followed by tournaments in Swan Hill (end of October), Wangaratta (November) Shepparton (December), Bendigo (January - Australia Day weekend) and Wodonga (February – Southern 80 weekend, usually).  Country Championships are for the A teams  are held:

April U14 teams (usually held middle of last weekend of April School Holidays)

Venues have yet to be advised by BVC.

 

Tryouts for athletes are held in June with training commencing in July.  Training is on a Tuesday or Wednesday due to stadium availability.

All applications must include verification of their coaching level and WWC.
