Seymour produced one of its worst performances under Brent Colbert last week after it was completely smashed by reigning premier Kyabram.
The Lions had too many players well below their best and Colbert will be eager to see if they give a response against arch rival Euroa.
Euroa’s Rohan Bail and James Hayes were the Magpies’ stars in the win against the Bulldogs while others to contribute to the important victory included Adam Tarrant, Marcus Varley, David Mole and Matt Douglas.
Jake O'Brien, Dylan Scopel, Brent Ryan and Jason Cole were some of the Lions that could head their head high in the loss to the Bombers.
This is a massive game in the context of these two teams’ aspirations to finish in the top echelon of the ladder, which will obviously be pivotal in launching into the finals.
Tip: Euroa.

Euroa will be looking to consolidate its place in the top six and return to the winners list after having to share the points with the improving Tatura last weekend.
Deanne Tuppen, Kali Frost and Kelly Hill will be some of the players that will look to lead the Magpies, which have struggled for consistency in 2017.
Seymour has only won the one game this season, but Laura Carland, Emily Haysom and Georgia Engel continue to be the main stays of the team.
The Lions will fancy their chances against Euroa and know that getting some early scoreboard pressure could be the difference for them winning or losing the four points.
Tip: Euroa.
