AFL Darling Downs have partnered with Toowoomba Motor Group (TMG) for three years in a deal that will see support for the regions senior men’s and women’s representative teams.
Toowoomba Motor Group specialise in Mitsubishi and Kia vehicles and provide you will high-performing vehicles designed to thrill and inspire you.
The naming rights deal of the representative pathway, will kick-start immediately this weekend with the AFL Darling Downs TMG City verses Country matches. Toowoomba City which will include players from the four Toowoomba based clubs will go head to head with Darling Downs Country which will be from the remaining 11 clubs across the region.
Both men’s and women’s teams will be named later this week.
Regional Manager for the Darling Downs, Jeff Neumann said it is great to partner with a local business that wants to support Australian Football.
“Toowoomba Motor Group approached us (AFL Darling Downs) and asked to support our talent pathway for senior players,” Regional Manager Jeff Neumann said.
“To have them (TMG) come to us and want to be a-part of our senior talent pathway is fantastic and their support will go a long way in making sure our representative pathways are first-class.
“The naming rights partnership is initially for three years and includes this years city verses country matches along with the 2019 series plus the inter-league matches next season,” Neumann said of the partnership.
The women’s TMG City verses Country match will start at 10:15am this Saturday 27th May prior to the QAFL reserves and seniors at Rockville Park. To conclude the day, the first bounce of the men’s TMG City verses Country match will be at 5:15pm.
