Can anyone stop University?
The Cougars dominated Coolaroo in the AFL Darling Downs top-of-the-table clash at Kratzke Oval on Saturday to remain unbeaten and establish an early jump on the rest of the competition.
University got on top in the first quarter and led at every change to close out a 21.8 (134) to 7.11 (53) win over Coolaroo.
Uni's run of five-straight wins to start their title defence is coming from contributions across the board as well, with Tyhe Clarkson, Blake Donovan, Ryan Hopkins and Ryan Colclough kicking three goals each in the triumph.
Coolaroo remains in second on the ladder despite a second-straight loss.
South Toowoomba and South Burnett are only one win behind though after victories at the weekend.
South Burnett made it two consecutive wins with a massive 27.14 (176) to 11.8 (74) victory over Goondiwindi at Lyle Vidler Oval.
A 10-goal second quarter set up the 102-point win for the Saints as Nathan Trace finished with eight goals for South Burnett.
David O'Toole slotted seven majors for Goondiwindi but they weren't enough.
Johno Leidig also kicked five goals for South Toowoomba in the Bombers' 14.11 (95) to 10.6 (66) win over Toowoomba Tigers at Heritage Oval.
Meanwhile, South Toowoomba gave unbeaten Toowoomba Tigers a big scare in their women's game.
The Tigers held on for a 3.11 (29) to 4.2 (26) victory but there was less than a kick in it.
