City Cruise Against Lowly Fire

Brisbane City have secured a solid 3-0 win over Sunshine Coast FC at Kawana on Sunday afternoon.
Dominating the first half, it would be the visitors who struck first, with Carter Glockner finishing well from 12 yards out.
The Fire would spurn a golden opportunity following Bon Scott’s failed clearance, and this would come back to haunt them, as Samuel Sibatuara slotted home under the legs of Kevin Downes to double the lead before half time.
Simon Biel would score late on to seal the result for City, who move to within three points of leaders Gold Coast City and only trail second placed Brisbane Strikers on goal difference.
Sunshine Coast, however, continue their barren run at the bottom of the table, still yet to win a game this season as they travel to Redlands United next week.
