DARWIN JUNIOR SIGNS TO US COLLEGE Auburn, ME - Freddy Webb, a 6'0" point guard from the Darwin Northern Territory, has become the third Australian young man to commit to CM to play basketball. He follows in the footsteps of Pietro Badalassi and Cam Duncan to make the trek across the ocean. Webb is a heady contributor who brings an impressive basketball resume to CM.
According to CM Men's Coach, Dave Gonyea, "Freddy is a great kid who fit in nicely when he visited a few weeks ago. By the time he left 3 days later, it was like he had been here the whole time. He was able to get in the gym and play with the guys. He held his own and quickly made friends. Oh course, it doesn't hurt he is following in the footsteps of two fantastic Aussie's before him. I suspect he will continue the tradition of becoming a positive influence on our team. We are very excited he is becoming a Mustang!"
