Football
Rochester hasn’t made the best of starts to 2017 after featuring in the grand final last year. The Tigers’ only win came at Deakin Reserve against United.
On the other hand, Benalla has made a splendid start to win three from four, losing only to Shepparton last round.
The Tigers will welcome back Steve Stroobants to the team after he missed last round’s narrow loss while Nathan Marrone and James Gledhill played really well for the Goulburn Valley League against the Ovens and Murray.
Benalla’s Luke Morgan, Nick Warnock, Sam Martyn and Thomas Bennett all represented the league in last week’s match.
The quartet will be the key players in this contest along with boom recruit Jarrod Bannister.
Bannister has already shown that if stays on the park for the whole season that he is likely to kick around 80 goals.
Tip: Rochester.
Netball
Both teams will be eager to improve their records, having only won one game each this season.
Benalla has also managed a draw against the Swans.
The Tigers were very good against Euroa only to go down in the final wash up while Benalla was competitive against Shepparton.
Eloise Cuttriss, Sahra Brooks and Morgan Dingwell will be three players who will be pivotal for the Tigers while the visitors will look to Hannah Austin, Georgia Rodger and Grace Thomas for drive to get the four points.
Tip: Rochester.
