Sunday winners in the Peter Jackson VFL were Werribee, Northern Blues and Willimstown.
While Williamstown and Northern Blues controlled their matches, Werribee left its run late to overun Casey to move within 1% of a spot in the top eight.
The Northern Blues move to fourth spot with their third win in a row, while Williamstown return to the top eight after breaking a two-game losing streak.

After trailing by 17 points in the third term, Werribee raced home with the final five goals of the game to claim an 11-point win. Lindsay Thomas kicked three of the final five goals for the Tigers as Casey could only manage five behinds in the final term.

Williamstown kicked an amazing 18 goals with the breeze to the city end of the ground at Burbank Oval – with an 11-goal third term - to claim a 94-point win against Coburg. More importantly, the Seagulls kicked the only two goals against the breeze in the final term to record 12 individual goalkickers for the game. After an even first term, the Blues set up their win kicking seven goals to one across the second and third quarters. Both teams had 11 scoring shots to three quarter time, but accuracy aided Northern Blues with 8.3 to 2.9 for a 30-point lead. The Magpies challenged in the final term, kicking four goals to one, but the Blues had done enough to dampen the home team’s 125 year celebrations.
