Football
Seymour has made the perfect start to the year and the Lions are looming large when it comes to potential challengers to Kyabram.
The Lions top 8-10 players are as good as any in the competition.
Benjamin Clifton is winding the clock back and is absolutely on fire, coach Brent Colbert is leading by example while Saad Saad has come back better than when he left the club 12 months ago. Dylan Scopel, James Falcone, and Jason Cole are others to playing really good football for the Lions.
Dean Smith, Ryan Devine, Rhys McKenzie, Nathan Turner, Jayk Papoulis and Jonathan Odgers have been some of the key contributors for the very young Cats.
Tip: Seymour.
Netball
Seymour is a work in progress this season and Mooroopna has made a fantastic start to the season under Jenny McCluskey.
The Cats will be wary not to take the re-building Lions lightly as it is important to bank as many early wins as possible to try and shore-up a finals spot.
Mooroopna was very good against an Echuca team who came with intent to spoil the party, so it was a good effort by the home team.
Tip: Mooroopna.
