This is going to be intriguing contest and both coaches will be eager to see how their players go.
Benalla has been very methodical in disposing of its first three opponents this season and Luke Morgan will welcome this game against a very good Shepparton team.
Jarrod Bannister has been one of the recruits of the season to date, kicking three bags of goals. Bannister knows he will face a big challenge against a Bears’ defence which is one of the best in the competition.
Zachary Pallpratt, Sam Martyn, Nicholas Warnock, Christopher Welsh and Charlie Morrison have been some of the players in good early season form.
Shepparton has recorded two wins and the victory against Euroa last weekend would have pleased coach, Brad Campbell.
The Bears’ response against Euroa, especially in the last quarter was emphatic.
Ruckman Ashley Holland has been a really good player for the club for a long time now, while Matthew Ryan, Matthew Shannon, Luke Smith, Nikolaus Rokahr and Joel Brett were brilliant against Euroa.

Netball
After a disappointing start to the new season with back-to-back losses to United and Kyabram, Shepparton bounced back with an emphatic win against Euroa last weekend.
The Bears welcomed Kim Commane into the team and she didn’t disappoint, blitzing the Euroa defenders.
There is no doubt her inclusion has helped the other girls grow an inch taller.
Benalla has produced a solid start to the year, with a win and draw in its past two matches.
Some of the team’s younger players are really getting better with each game and the inclusion of Hannah Austin has given the Saints another shooter.
