In two Sunday Peter Jackson VFL games, it was wins to the Northern Blues and Box Hill Hawks.
The Hawks join Port Melbourne as the only undefeated teams after Round 3, one game ahead of five clubs - including the Northern Blues - that have only lost one game for the season.
Both teams prodcued strong second halves today, with Box Hill coming back from 22 points down in the second term to rush home to a 28-point win, while the Blues weathered a third term revival by the Lions to produce back-to-back wins, and move to fifth on the ladder.

An eight-goal to one second half by Box Hill has seen the Hawks remain undefeated at the completion of Round 3. After Williamstown kicked the opening four goals of the second term – to lead by 22 points - Box Hill proceeded to kick 10 of the next 12 goals of the game to run out 28-point winners. The Hawks had 10 individual goal kickers, with Ty Vickery leading the way with three – two in the first term.

NORTHERN BLUES 21.15 (141) d COBURG 11.13 (79)
After just 10 points separated the teams at quarter time, the Northern Blues broke the game open with six unanswered majors to open the second term, establishing a 47-point lead. Liam Jones produced an aerial display for the Blues as he kicked two goals for the term. The Lions fought back to within 19 points in the third term, kicking the opening three goals of the term, but Northern finished strongly booting nine of the last 11 goals for the game.
