NOTICE: Galaxy United FC holding Girls’ SAP program for 8-11 year olds
GALAXY United FC, the Geelong region’s representative club in the Victorian WNPL competition, is holding a Skills Acquisition Program (SAP) for all girls in the wider Geelong region born between 2006-2009.
The elite training Academy style program has recently commenced however there is still an opportunity for interested young girls to join.
SAP is a concentrated skills acquisition program designed to perfect and accelerate the development of the four core skills for junior players. These include: first touch, 1 v 1 attacking/defending, running with the ball and striking the ball.
All sessions are held in 3 x 8 week cycles with a Gala Day to be held at the end of each cycle.
Sessions are held from 5pm to 6:15pm on a Monday at Banyul Warri Reserve in Torquay North, while on Wednesdays and Fridays they are held at Evans Reserve in Sparks Road, Norlane.
