Comeback takes Olympic top

Olympic FC have returned to the summit of the PS4 NPL Queensland ladder for the Easter break after coming from behind to take a point against Moreton Bay United on Thursday night.
The Jets opened the scoring after just three minutes, capitalising on some loose defending from Olympic with Donggyu Lee the beneficiary.
Half-time was called five minutes early as an ambulance was called to treat Moreton Bay's Stephen Green who was knocked unconscious defending a corner. The players returned to the pitch and played the remaining five minutes before taking a drinks break and changing sides.
It only took 11 minutes after the restart for the Jets to double their lead as Kyusub Bang fired a header home past Olympic keeper Tom Carroll.
Olympic dragged one back with 14 minutes remaining from the penalty spot before equalising with five minutes of regular time remaining through Kristen Waters.
The result sees Olympic jump to the top of the ladder on goal difference ahead of their next game against the winless Thunder. Moreton Bay will welcome Brisbane City to Wolter Park next weekend.

56’ – GOAL TO MORETON BAY – The ball is whipped in from the wing and is perfectly headed past Tom Carroll into the back of the net by Kyusub Bang.
76’ – GOAL TO OLYMPIC – Ramone Close converts from the penalty spot, with a viciously struck spot kick.
85’ – GOAL TO OLYMPIC – Kristen Waters smashes the ball into the back of the net after a corner was cleared by the Jets defence. The ball was sent back into the area and pinballed around until Waters latched on and struck home.
